Company’s third consecutive Report encompasses its full global operations
July 7, 2026, Florence (Italy) – PQE Group is pleased to announce it has completed and released its 2025 Sustainability Report, which represents a significant milestone for the company as it marks its third report and the second to cover its full global operations. This report provides a comprehensive view of the company’s sustainability strategy and impact across all 22 countries where it operates.
Despite the recent legislative changes introduced by the European Union to the sustainability reporting framework, including the proposed simplification of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) under the “Omnibus” package and the postponement of reporting requirements for many companies, the Company has voluntarily decided to continue its transparency journey.
Although the Company is no longer required, under the current regulatory framework, to prepare a Sustainability Report, it will continue to publish its report in accordance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). This commitment is also consistent with PQE Group’s role as a trusted partner to many clients that remain subject to CSRD reporting requirements and continue to rely on robust sustainability reporting and compliance. In this context, PQE Group delivers added value: for clients with mandatory obligations, its consultants can demonstrate full compliance with the rigorous standards established by ESRS.
This decision reflects the Company’s ongoing commitment to transparency, accountability, and high-quality sustainability disclosure, while fostering trust and engagement with all stakeholders.
For the first time, PQE’s Sustainability Report is based on a Double Materiality Assessment conducted in line with the ESRS framework. The assessment combined an analysis of both the Company’s impacts on people and the environment and the sustainability-related risks and opportunities affecting the business, while incorporating extensive stakeholder engagement. This process enabled PQE to identify and prioritize the ESG topics that are most material to both the Company and its stakeholders, providing the foundation for the Report and the Group’s sustainability strategy.
In environmental matters, PQE Group transparently disclosed its comprehensive greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in alignment with the ISO 14064-1:2019 standard, covering Scope 1 (direct emissions), Scope 2 (indirect emissions from electricity consumption), and Scope 3 (other indirect emissions, predominantly from business travel). These detailed disclosures reflect PQE Group’s structured and transparent approach and reinforce its commitment to reducing its carbon footprint.
From a social perspective, the company delivered widespread training on inclusive language, people and equity initiatives, and professional development, while also ensuring safe working environments and fair opportunities for career advancement. In addition, comprehensive training programs were delivered across a wide range of topics, increasing average training hours per employee from 12 to 17.
On the governance side, PQE Group strengthened its commitment to ethical business practices through training, due diligence on partners, and the gain of the Legality Rating.
Regulation has become a critical pillar of stakeholder trust. While recent developments have introduced greater flexibility and reduced mandatory requirements, PQE Group has proactively chosen to maintain full alignment in its 2025 Sustainability Report. By continuing to report in accordance with the ESRS frameworks, PQE Group reaffirms its commitment not only to compliance where required, but to upholding the highest standards of transparency and ethical integrity.
“As the European Union advances its sustainability agenda, even amid a more flexible regulatory landscape, PQE Group has chosen not only to align, but to lead,” said Gilda D’Incerti, CEO & Founder of PQE Group. “By proactively embarking on this journey with our 2023 report in Italy, expanding to a global perspective in 2024, and now delivering our 2025 Sustainability Report, we continue to embed sustainability into the very fabric of our organization.”
“This work represents far more than regulatory alignment—it reflects a clear vision for the future of our company. By integrating transparency, accountability, and innovation across our people, governance, and operations, we are shaping a business that creates lasting value while upholding the highest standards of ethics and merit-based equity. Our continued progress reinforces PQE Group’s commitment to driving sustainable impact across Europe and globally.”
