Geneviève Biron
President and CEO of Santé Québec
A committed leader, Geneviève Biron is known for her optimistic and strategic vision, as well as her ability to mobilize and rally teams around a common goal.
With over 30 years of experience in the healthcare, economic development, and business sectors, Ms. Biron founded and currently chairs, in 2021, Propulia Capital, an investment platform created to support companies in the seed and growth stages.
Between 2014 and 2021, Ms. Biron served as Chair of Biron Groupe Santé, where she had worked for over 25 years. She strategically repositioned the company by leading a major digital transformation program. Driven by a desire to improve efficiency and customer service, she also founded and built the largest network of medical imaging clinics in Quebec, Imagix, a subsidiary of Biron Health Group. During her tenure as Chair of Biron Health Group, the organization was named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies for five consecutive years.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from HEC Montréal, has completed the specialized Quantum Shift™ program at the Ivey Business School, and holds the IAS.A designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
A seasoned entrepreneur, she has received numerous awards for her strategic vision, her progressive leadership style, and her successful transition at the FCCQ’s Mercuriades and among PwC’s Rising Stars.
