A rich legacy for your association
Dear members of the ecosystem,
The past year has been one of action and growth for BIOQuébec. In a particularly challenging geoeconomic context, we have redoubled our efforts to represent the interests of our industry to decision-makers and consistently remind them of the importance of our industry for the future of Quebec.
The new Québec Life Sciences Strategy (SQSV) now sets the tone for government priorities. We are ensuring that it translates into concrete results and remain committed to ensuring that Quebecers can benefit from innovations in health, an issue that is all the more important in the current geopolitical context.
We have also focused on collaboration, a value that continues to guide our work. More than 300 meetings were held in 2025 to develop joint initiatives, strengthen ties in Canada and internationally, and increase business opportunities for our members.
Looking ahead to 2026
After more than 110 events in which BIOQuébec participated—including 17 organized by our team—2026 promises to be just as busy. Among the highlights that will mark the year:
- Sweet Pharma Day – April 29, 2026 A showcase where 16 Canadian start-ups will be able to present their projects to major players in the pharmaceutical industry, investors, and life sciences organizations.
- BioHorizon Conference – October 7 and 8, 2026 In collaboration with Montréal InVivo, this new internationally open format will offer programming tailored to the needs of companies from here and abroad. Stay tuned, details will be announced shortly.
BIOQuébec draws its strength from you. With more than 330 members today, your involvement and perspectives have guided our actions throughout the year. I sincerely thank you for your trust.
