The Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Montreal, a partner worth discovering
This webinar from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Montreal will be presented by Marie Lordkipanidzé, Vice-Dean of Research and Studies in Pharmaceutical Sciences. The seminar will focus on two areas where partnerships with the biopharmaceutical ecosystem are crucial: training highly qualified personnel and collaborative research. Particular emphasis will be placed on pharmaceutical science programs (graduate programs in drug development and bachelor’s degrees in biopharmaceutical sciences), for which workplace learning (internships) in the biopharmaceutical industry or government are a vital component. Research partnership opportunities at the Faculty of Pharmacy will also be highlighted.
Target audience:
- Industrial, governmental, and paragovernmental partners
- Fields: Chemistry-manufacturing (Drug development and formulation, Regulatory affairs, Quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC), Clinical operations and clinical trial support); Research and development (R&D) (Preclinical research, Translational medicine, Biomarker discovery, Pharmacology and toxicology studies); Laboratory work (Organic chemistry, Analytical chemistry, Biochemistry and molecular biology, Cell culture and microbiology, Bioinformatics and data analysis); Medical affairs and market access; Biotechnology and CRO; Regulatory affairs and compliance; Pharmacovigilance and safety; Pharmacoeconomics and pharmacoepidemiology; Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacometrics.
