Trade mission in Vancouver

BIOQuébec is organizing a trade mission to Vancouver, in collaboration with Life Sciences BC (LSBC), as part of the memorandum of understanding (MOU) between our two organizations.

This mission will enable Quebec companies to explore one of Canada’s leading life sciences ecosystems and develop new business opportunities through networking activities, visits to key organizations, and meetings with industry stakeholders.

This mission is an excellent opportunity to:

• Develop new scientific, clinical, and commercial partnerships;
• Meet with companies and organizations in British Columbia’s life sciences ecosystem;
• Network with investors active in the sector;
• Gain a better understanding of Vancouver’s innovation ecosystem;
• Increase your organization’s visibility within the Canadian ecosystem.

Program (Preliminary)
In addition to participating in the Life Sciences BC Awards, the mission will include, among other things:

• Quebec–British Columbia Networking Lunch;
• Meetings with companies and organizations in the ecosystem;
• Visit to the University of British Columbia (UBC) and discussions with teams responsible for innovation and technology transfer;
• Visit to the adMare Innovation Centre;
• Meeting with investors and partners in the ecosystem.

The program is currently being finalized and may be expanded to include additional activities.

Expected Costs
The expected costs are:

• Your travel and lodging expenses;
• Your registration for the Life Sciences BC Awards (reduced member rates);
