Together towards 2025: challenges and opportunities
Dear members
As we enter 2025, a year rich in challenges but also opportunities, it's clear that our strength lies in our ability to act together. The landscape remains uncertain: will governments reinvest in our sector? Will investors respond? How do we navigate an unpredictable economic and political context?
Our response? Solidarity, creativity and concerted action. BIOQuébec is currently conducting a strategic review to meet these challenges while maximizing opportunities. Here are a few ideas:
- Reinforcing our alliances : Whether with our local or international partners, collaborations are more essential than ever. At a time when many organizations are undergoing leadership renewal, these are opportunities to strengthen our ties, rethink our partnerships and consolidate our ecosystem.
- Staying proactive: Let's continue to call on public decision-makers to ensure that our sector, which is strategic and comparable to others benefiting from increased support, is recognized and supported in line with its exceptional contribution not only to the economy but also to the health of Quebecers.
- Consolidating our community : Together, let's make Québec not only the best place in the world to start and grow a business, but also a resolute and essential place for innovation.
We know that 2025 will require collective efforts, but our ecosystem has proven that it can adapt and innovate in the face of turbulence. With your commitment, we can go even further, build a solid future and make Quebec shine on the global life sciences stage.
