Draft regulation - Pharmacy Act: BIOQuébec proposes concrete measures to improve access to care

BIOQuébec recently submitted its comments to the Office des professions du Québec as part of the consultation on the Regulation respecting the practice of certain professional activities referred to in section 17 of the Pharmacy Act (chapter P-10, a. 10, 1st paragraph, par. h).

BIOQuébec's recommendations are designed to promote rapid care, particularly for people who do not have a family doctor, to improve access to primary care and to optimize the use of healthcare system resources. By broadening the use of off-site medical tests, ensuring their reimbursement and facilitating the initiation of treatments in pharmacies, the draft regulations could contribute to a more efficient, accessible healthcare offering, adapted to the needs of the population.
