We are pleased to invite you to the Rendez-vous BIOPolitique organized by BIOQuébec, to be held on September 8 at the offices of BCF avocats d'affaires. This networking conference will provide an opportunity to exchange views with Minister Christine Fréchette on her vision and the future of our sector.

Against the backdrop of the renewal of the Quebec Life Sciences Strategy, this meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss the government's vision for our sector, its integration into the province's economic priorities, and the levers to support its influence in Quebec and internationally.

Christine Fréchette

Deputy for Sanguinet and Minister of the Economy, Innovation and Energy, Minister responsible for regional economic development and Minister responsible for the metropolis and region of Montréal

A specialist in economic development and government relations, Christine Fréchette has over twenty years' experience in the Montreal business community. Having held positions as Director of External and Institutional Relations at Montréal Internationale and Project Manager for an innovation zone, she is known for her strategic and visionary thinking, her strong ability to synthesize ideas and her rallying approach.

Elected in 2022 in the southern riding of Sanguinet, she was appointed Minister of Immigration, Francization and Integration in October 2022.

On September 5, Quebec Premier François Legault did her the immense honor of choosing her as Minister of the Economy, Innovation and Energy, Minister responsible for Regional Economic Development and Minister responsible for the Metropolis and the Montreal Region.
