Andrius Šliužas is life sciences industry development manager at Innovation Agency Lithuania - Lithuania’s business competitiveness partner in a global world. His work focuses on fostering the growth of Lithuania’s life sciences industry through strategic interventions that help Lithuanian companies expand their export capacities and build bridges with global partners.

Tomas Andrejauskas, EMBA

President, Board member - LithuaniaBIO

Tomas Andrejauskas is the President of LithuaniaBIO, the Lithuanian Biotechnology Association. He is a biotech entrepreneur and investor with experience in finance, life sciences, and technology commercialization. Tomas is also a founding partner and Development Manager at SatiMed, a company engaged in plant biotechnology research and its application in medicine and healthcare.

Georges Ged

Senior Director Foreign Direct Investment at Investissement Quebec International

A Senior Director, FDI at Investissement Quebec International (IQI) the financial arm of the Government of Quebec, based in Montreal.

Mr. Ged is a seasoned industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining IQI, he has led various positions with increasing responsibilities with many multinational pharmaceutical & medical equipment companies. He fulfilled assignments in different markets and geographical areas in Europe, the Middle East, and North America and has built everlasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders and was featured in many online and printed media publications.

Mr. Ged holds a degree of Electronics and Communication Engineering from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. He is actively involved in volunteer work in Montreal, specifically with the homeless at the Old Brewery Mission and with “Jeunesse Au Soleil” and recently served as Vice President on the Board of The Pharmaceutical Marketing Club of Quebec (PMCQ), a professional organization that includes over 800 members from the pharmaceutical industry in Montreal.

Jeannine Burkhard

Public Affairs Advisor at BIOQuébec

Jeannine Burkhard is in charge of government affairs, public relations, and stakeholder relations at BIOQuébec, where she represents the interests of the life sciences and health technologies industry and contributes to a favorable business environment in Quebec. Previously, she worked on projects to attract investment and expand foreign companies' subsidiaries in German-speaking, southern, and eastern European markets at Montréal International. She has also led internationalization projects in higher education. Ms. Burkhard holds a master's degree in political science.
