Did you know that only 9% of the bioeconomy's workforce is made up of recent immigrants, and only 1% of people with disabilities and Natives ?
BioTalent Canada will award a $10,000* bursary to three students entering their first year of study in an accredited bioscience program.
*Please note that the bursary amount for a CEGEP (collège d'enseignement général et professionnel) student will be $5,000.
Inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility (I.D.E.A.L.) are essential to stimulate innovation and growth in the Canadian bioeconomy. The I.D.E.A.L Scholarship MC aims to improve the representation of equity-seeking groups in the sector, while helping students achieve their goals in bioscience studies.
