Catherine Ladrière

Vice-President of Sales & Marketing at Johnson & Johnson MedTech Canada

Catherine has over twenty years of experience in the healthcare industry, specializing in sales, marketing, and business development. She currently serves as Vice-President of Sales & Marketing at Johnson & Johnson MedTech Canada for the Orthopaedics division, where she leads teams and crafts strategies to drive growth and innovation. Throughout her career, Catherine has been actively involved in shaping the healthcare landscape to promote the adoption of cutting-edge medical technologies and innovative solutions.

Bilingual in French and English, Catherine holds a Bachelor of Management from Hautes Études Commerciales in Montreal. Renowned for pioneering innovative business strategies, she is valued for her collaborative approach, strategic vision, and talent for building strong relationships. She is passionate about fostering a corporate culture that embraces diversity, authenticity, and innovative thinking

Eve La Rivière

General Manager, Eastern Canada & Ombudsperson – GE Healthcare Canada

A seasoned leader at GE Healthcare Canada, Eve La Rivière manages commercial and strategic operations in Eastern Canada, covering sales, service, marketing, regulatory affairs, and medical technologies. She plays a key role in promoting Medtech innovation in Canada.

With over 30 years of management experience, Eve began her career at Alcan and held several management positions at GE, including in health and safety, both nationally and internationally. She also chaired the Health and Safety Committee of the Canadian Wind Energy Association and was a leader of GE's women's network in Quebec.

Eve holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Montreal and a degree in adult education from UQAM. She also holds two executive management certifications from Crotonville (NY) and the Rotman School of Management.
A master athlete in track and field, she is passionate about health and sports. She lives in Montreal with her husband Michael and their two daughters, Salomé and Scarlet, both university students.

Geneviève Lavertu, LLB, BCL, MSc

Director, Government Affairs and Policy at Johnson & Johnson Medical Technology in Canada

She is a senior executive in the health technologies sector, who prior to joining J&J MedTech was a consultant with life sciences companies, advising on their commercialization strategy. She was previously in various senior roles on the leadership team of Medtronic Canada, including as Senior Director of Medtronic Care Management Services, head of Legal, Scientific Affairs and Business Development. She was previously general counsel and corporate secretary of ProMetic Life Sciences (now Liminal BioSciences), following a successful mergers and acquisitions law practice at Stikeman Elliott.

Ms Lavertu is a lawyer in Ontario and Quebec, a MSc graduate in Political Economy from London School of Economics and Political Science (London, UK) and a graduate of France’s École Nationale d’Administration (ENA), now the National Institute of Public Service (INSP).

Stéphane Moreau, Eng., M.A.Sc., MBA

Senior Engineering Director, Released Products at Medtronic

Mr. Stéphane Moreau holds a bachelor's degree in engineering physics (B.Eng.), with a specialization in materials, as well as a master's degree in applied sciences (M.Sc.A.) in biomedical engineering, focusing on sterilization processes for heat-sensitive biomaterials. He obtained both degrees from the École Polytechnique de Montréal.
He also completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at HEC Montréal, where he specialized in corporate management concepts and team management.

With over 25 years of professional experience, Mr. Moreau has held various management positions in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. He is active in several professional networks and has published numerous scientific and management articles over the years.

A member of the MedTeq+ Scientific Committee since its creation in 2013, he actively contributes to the development of the industry.

A lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy at the University of Montreal, Mr. Moreau teaches project management in drug development as well as the regulatory and technical aspects of medical instrumentation.

He currently holds the position of Senior Engineering Director, Released Products at Medtronic, where he oversees a team of 35 engineers, technicians, and project managers based in Montreal, Quebec; Mounds View, Minnesota; Santa Clara, California; Billerica, Massachusetts; and Galway, Ireland.
