    Student Internship Program (SEP)

    BioTalent Canada's Student Internship Program (SIP) is a work-integrated learning initiative designed to enhance the employment readiness of students enrolled in STEM, healthcare, business and other programs at Canadian post-secondary institutions.

    The Student Internship Program (SEP) is a paid internship or work-integrated learning initiative that provides students with on-the-job training to enhance their preparation for employment after graduation.

    Reduces the financial cost barrier covering up to 50% of the paid internship salary, to a maximum of $5,000, or up to 70% of the salary, to a maximum of $7,000, for a first-year student or a student from an under-represented group

    This program offers employers the opportunity to :

    • Access support to hire students for paid internships;

    • Take advantage of a pool of workers eager to improve their skills;

    • Offer practical experience to young talent;

    • Develop new talent for their future recruitment needs.
