Specialized life sciences job board now available in Quebec thanks to BioTalent Canada and BIOQuébec
Montreal, June 18th, 2019 – BIOQuébec and BioTalent Canada have announced a collaboration agreement to facilitate access to human resources services specific to life sciences and biotech for all Quebec companies working in that sector.
This promising new project will help Quebec’s biotech industry manage its workforce strategically by providing human resources tools and information services through the PetriDish job search and job offer platform on the BIOQuébec website. This will attract new workers to the biotechnology sector by opening up job offers to a wide target audience. It will also enable future employees to post their availability and skill sets. BIOQuébec will be the sole official host of the job board for the entire province of Quebec.
“One of today’s most daunting economic challenges is dealing with the workforce issues affecting many job sectors in Quebec, including life sciences and biotechnology,” asserts Anie Perrault, Executive Manager of BIOQuébec. “BIOQuébec has accordingly decided to be proactive and launch a project to provide additional resources dedicated to the biotechnology and life sciences sector. Our collaboration with BioTalent Canada, a pan-Canadian human resources organization devoted to the development of our sector, could not have come at a better time!”
